PhD candidate and Gen-Q Fellow in the Nanophononics Group of Prof. Ilaria Zardo at the Physics Department, University of Basel, Switzerland. Doctoral research focuses on thermal transport and phonon dynamics in two-dimensional ferroelectric and magnetic materials.
Technical Assistant in the Atomic and Laser Physics Lab at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Worked on laser-based materials characterization, including LIBS analysis of rare-earth elements in geological samples, in a project funded by the Pakistan Academy of Sciences.
MPhil in Physics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Research focused on pulsed laser deposition of hydroxyapatite thin films and their structural, optical, and surface characterization. The work was carried out at the National Centre for Physics, Islamabad, Pakistan, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. M. Aslam Baig.
Research Intern at the National Centre for Physics, Islamabad, Pakistan. Worked on the synthesis of transition metal oxide electrode materials for supercapacitor applications and the study of their electrochemical performance.
Bachelor of Science in Physics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
