Yashpreet Kaur wins best poster award at NMHT 2024
Yashpreet presented her research work on the project titled “Thermal rectification in telescopic nanowires” at the Nanoscale and Microscale Heat Transfer VIII conference 2024 held in Girona, Spain for which she received the award for Best Poster based on People’s choice. Her work focuses on studying thermal transport in one-dimensional nanostructures, aiming to discover thermally rectifying materials for applications like thermal diode to help in heat management.
