A Sight of Nanomaterials – Giulio de Vito at diss:kurs 2024
On May 16, 2024, seven speakers presented their research projects to a wider public at Theater Tabourettli. After the ten-minute presentations, they had the possibility to answer questions from the audience that have come up during the talks. One of which is Giulio de Video from our group.
Understanding what the universe is made of and how it works is the ultimate goal of humankind. Although this is a challenging task, a good first step is to study how matter and energy work in their fundamental elements. Nanotechnology is the branch of science devoted to understanding and manipulating matter on a near-atomic scale to produce new structures, materials, and devices. Giulio de Vito will bring you to a journey to see what we are capable to do at the nano scale, and how the world of physics may surprise us with new phenomena.
